No guts, no story

About Meghan

I’m not a perfect person and that’s precisely the reason I do the work I do. I’ve tried and failed and learned and tried again and made mistakes and learned from those too. The purpose of this work isn’t perfection (which is a huge relief), it’s progress. It’s taking the next step in the right direction.

My aim is to help people hold themselves accountable, remain resilient and recognize what’s truly important in their lives. I’m dedicated to helping people close the gap between who they are, who they feel they have to be, and who they truly want to be.

I'm a writer and a speaker and have been training in a professional capacity for over seven years, beginning with corporate talks on brand ethics, company values, and leadership, and later moving into interpersonal sessions with groups and individuals. If I had a superpower it would be my ability to take big, sometimes intimidating concepts and ideas and break them down into something accessible and tangible (note: if you’d asked me, I would have preferred teleportation). When I'm not working, I spend much of my time reading, asking people if I can pet their dogs and struggling to keep my succulents alive. I'm currently based in Vancouver, BC, unceded Coast Salish territory.

About Meghan Talks

Meghan Talks began with me facing my own struggles, and emerging from them with a desire to share the hard-fought lessons I had learned. You can read more about that here.

I whole-heartedly believe this world would be a much better place if we were all more willing to share the learning that we’ve lived, and it’s my intention to do just that: provide tools and insight gleaned through hard lessons and real vulnerability.

“I will not teach or love or show you anything perfectly, but I will let you see me, and I will always hold sacred the gift of seeing you. Truly, deeply seeing you.”
